1 Hour Full Length Lessons

(Suzuki books 4 and up)

1 hour lessons are designed to build more advanced techniques on the violin, and to develop even more intricate abilities and sensitivity to performance and tone. Students in books 4 and up begin to encounter higher level concerto repertoire, and are challenged to be self- sufficient critical thinkers who are called to have a well-developed relationship of ownership with their instrument.

45 Minute Lessons

Suzuki books (2-3)

45 minute lessons are meant for students who are through book 1, and are beginning to build on their musicality and artistry in books 2 and 3. These lessons are aimed towards building on more involved musical concepts such as, “tonalization”, more advanced bow technique, musicality and phrasing. Students at this level are beginning to develop an individual sense of ownership for their instrument and musical experience.

Half Hour Lessons

(Suzuki book 1)

30 minute lessons are available for younger students (ages 4 and up), as well as older beginners. These lessons are primarily aimed towards those who have never held the instrument before, but maybe have a desire or curiosity to explore music for the first time. They are primarily focused on building the fundamental knowledge and skills required for the aspiring musician.
